Harry was born in the Sept quarter of 1888 in Shawforth, Rochdale, Lancs. The son of Samuel Park and Alice Ann Fielden. In the 1891 census the family lived at 36 Crowther St, Spotland, Rochdale. Sam 24, cotton grinder born in Norwich, Norfolk, Alice 32, Fred 14, Mary 8, Emily 7, Sarah 4, Harry 2 and Arthur 1.

By the time of the 1901 census the family had moved to 504 Market St, Whitworth, Lancs. Sam 45, Alice 42, Fred 24, Mary 18, Emily 17, Sarah 14, and Harry 12.

In the 1911 census the family had moved to 5 Hurtley St, Burnley. Sam 55, Alice 52, Harry 22 weaver, Emily Griffin (nee Park) and husband Harry. Sam and Alice had been married 30 years and had had 6 children 1 of whom had died.

Lived at 33 Ashfield Road.

Harry left his effects to his father Samuel.

Harry is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial, Belgium: Panels 102 to 104. Son of Samuel and Alice Ann Park, late of Shawforth, Rochdale.
